Valeria Fiorillo is a member of the Rome Bar Association.

In 2016, she graduated with honours from the University of Roma Tre with a dissertation on international law.

After graduation, she collaborated with the law firm Orrick in Paris, where she worked on real estate law and pro bono activities.

In 2017, she obtained an LLM from the University of Essex in ‘International Human Rights Law’.

She did an internship at the Associazione A Buon Diritto Onlus and worked with Prof. Luigi Manconi in his awareness-raising activities on human rights issues. She collaborated with the Pietrangeli law firm, where she worked on appeals to the European Court of Human Rights. In addition, in 2018 she did a six-month internship at the European Court of Human Rights.

Since January 2022, she has been working with the Saccucci&Partners Law Firm, here she practices in the field of international law, following, in particular, human rights litigations before the European Court of Human Rights.

In 2022, she is scheduled to obtain a PhD degree from the University of Palermo, Italy, and the University of Paris Nanterre, France with a thesis on the right to freedom of expression.
