Matteo Magnano graduated in Law, with honors, from “Luiss – Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli” – University in Rome, with a dissertation on Family Law, entitled “Marital enterprise and partnerships between spouses under the community of property regime” (supervisor Prof. Cesare Massimo Bianca).

Matteo Magnano obtained the qualification to practice law in 2010. He is enrolled in the Register of Lawyers of Rome and is admitted to practice before the Higher Courts.

Subsequently, after an academic career at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Matteo Magnano obtained the Spanish law degree and the qualification to practice also in the Kingdom of Spain, enrolling in the Bar Association of Madrid.

He attended the postgraduate degree program in Health and Pharmaceutical Law at the Faculty of Law of the “Roma Tre” University of Rome, directed by Prof. Guido Corso, and in 2012 he obtained the relative diploma, discussing a dissertation entitled “The civil liability of the Ministry of Health for damages from infected blood through transfusion of blood and blood products”.

From 2012 to 2016 he was an associate lawyer at Lana – Lagostena Bassi and collaborated also with the Unione Forense per la Tutela dei Diritti Umani (UFTDU).

He has been a teaching assistant in in Immigration Law at the Faculty of Law of the “LUMSA” University of Rome.

Since 1 January 2017, he is a founding partner of the International Law firm Saccucci & Partners, together with his colleagues Prof. Andrea Saccucci and Giulia Borgna.

His practice focuses mainly on aspects of civil law and administrative law. In the exercise of his profession, he had the opportunity to specialize in the field of medical liability, especially with regard to compensation for damages from infected blood following the transfusion of blood and blood products.

He participated, as a speaker, in the seminar “Human and fundamental rights: how the profession of lawyer is changing”, organized by the Bar Association of Teramo, and in the seminar “Expulsion of migrants and asylum seekers and international law” , organized by the Italian Council for Refugees (CIR) and the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ)”.
