Fabrizio Ciancio

Fabrizio graduated in Law at the LUISS “Guido Carli” University of Rome in 2013, discussing a thesis in International Protection of Human Rights entitled “Freedom of expression and protection of journalism in the European Convention on Human Rights” (supervisor Professor Pietro Pustorino), and he is currently registered with the Bar Association of Nocera Inferiore (SA).

Fabrizio started working with Professor Saccucci in September 2013 and he mainly practices in the areas of Human Rights, International Law and Civil Law.

Fabrizio has dealt, among other things, with actions for defamation and libel, contractual and non-contractual liability, as well as applications before the European Court of Human Rights for violation of the right to a fair trial, the right to respect for private and family life, the freedom of expression, the protection of property, the principle of legality in criminal matters and the principle of ne bis in idem.

Fabrizio lectures regularly in applications before the European Court of Human Rights both at the university level and in professional training courses for lawyers.

He is the author of several publications on human rights and defamation.
