Chiara Zaia

Chiara Zaia was admitted to the Italian BAR and is member of the Lawyers register of Rome since December 2022.

She graduated in Law from the “Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali” (LUISS) “Guido Carli” in April 2020 by discussing a thesis in International Law on “Non-proliferation and Disarmament: Nuclear Weapons under International Law,” obtaining a grade of 110/110.

Since November 2020, she is a PhD candidate in Human Rights at the University of Palermo, with a thesis entitled “Implementing Human Rights in Investment Law and Arbitration: Achievements and Future Challenges.”

She has been working with the SP Firm since June 2020, within which she mainly practices in the area of international law, dealing with human rights litigation before the European Court of Human Rights and international investment arbitrations.

In 2018, she performed a six-month internship at the Italian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Italy).
