Cecilia joined S&P in 2016.
Cecilia specializes in national and international litigation in the field of public international law and human rights. She assists the firm in the representation of a wide range of clients before the Italian jurisdictions, the European Court of Human Rights and other international bodies.
Cecilia has solid experience in matters relating to immigration, fair trial guarantees in criminal proceedings, right to respect for private and family life, right to access to justice and right to reparation for violations of international law.
Cecilia obtained her Ph.D. cum laude in International Law from the University of Macerata. While working on her doctoral thesis, Cecilia was a Visiting Fellow at Sorbonne University in Paris. From 2022 to 2023, she was Postdoctoral Research Fellow in International Law at Sapienza University of Rome. In 2023 she attended the Hague Academy of International Law’s Summer Courses on public international law.
She lectures regularly on human rights and has written on various topics of international law and human rights.
